So how can you help? As citizens of the United States, we are guaranteed the right to a trial free from “defects.” My family and I believe my trial had many defects, which can be proved with the help of an attorney. But as everyone may guess, hiring one of these attorney’s will not be cheap. I have chosen a prominent attorney who agrees that my trial was defective and is willing to take my case back to the courts. However, the cost is prohibitive to my family. The estimated cost is between $30,000 and $40,000 for everything. I am asking for donations in any amount to raise enough money to cover the cost of the attorney – nothing more. We are a little over $20,000 and we are in the process of what seems to be a lengthy process of back and forth. I need all the help that you’re willing to give. Please consider what you would have to do if you were in my shoes. The system gets away with defective trials and sentencing methods far too often. But with your help in this effort, I will be able to see justice in America work through the power of its people.
